On New Year’s Eve 1994 I was fighting for my life. The boyfriend I lived with, had come home drunk, high, or both, was on top of me beating my head into the hardwood floor. Unable to get out from under the weight of his body I did what every woman has been taught to do to save her life — I grabbed his balls. Luckily, our front door was ajar, and the bodybuilder who lived next door came in and saved my life. Every single thing in my life changed that night.
A decade later in my mid-thirties and flourishing in my career, I began a quest to figure out how to have a great love relationship. Earning money and having a successful career always came easily to me, but the one thing I wanted most of all — a man who would love me respectfully and work through the challenges that life would inevitably bring, along with attraction, chemistry, and if at all possible, someone who would know how to lighten me up when I took myself too seriously. Today, I’m known around the world as a happily married woman working alongside my beloved husband, Matthew, setting our clients free from their hidden blocks to love.
